Sunlight shines down, casting a golden glow on the factory building. On November 20th, the 3583.44KW photovoltaic project of GEM (Wuxi) Energy Materials Co., Ltd. officially commenced! This marks the beginning of cooperation between the two parties, leveraging their respective resource advantages through a strategic cooperation agreement. They will collaboratein various fields such as distributed photovoltaics, aiming to continuously optimize GEM (Wuxi) Energy Materials Co., Ltd.'s energy structure and effectively promote sustainable local economic development. This initiative yields significant economic, social, and ecological benefits.
Build towards "light" and fulfill the commitment to low carbon
The project utilizes the roof of approximately 20,000 square meters of the factory building of GEM (Wuxi) Energy Materials Co., Ltd. to construct a distributed photovoltaic power station. Adopting the "self-generation and self-consumption, surplus power fed to the grid" model, the project generates an average of approximately 3.3 million kWh of electricity annually, saving an average of over 1.3 million yuan in energy costs and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 3,200 tons annually, equivalent to planting 180,000 trees each year. This not only brings significant energy conservation and emission reduction benefits and economic benefits to the owner unit, but also injects new momentum into the green and low-carbon development of Wuxi City and even Jiangsu Province through practical actions, setting a benchmark model for industrial andcommercial enterprises to fulfill the "dual carbon" goals.

The project is implemented in two phases. The first phase is scheduled to commence construction in November 2025 and achieve grid-connected power generation in February 2026.
